Opened in 1986, Mayo Clinic in Florida (MCF) was the first campus expansion outside of Rochester, Minnesota. Since then, Mayo Clinic’s campus in Jacksonville, Florida has served as a premiere medical destination for patients seeking care from all 50 states and more than 80 countries.

Regarding musculoskeletal care, MCF provides a uniquely focused multidisciplinary team-based approach to the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with both operative and non-operative conditions. Our non-surgical group contains a team of highly specialized and experienced physical therapists, athletic trainers, performance specialists, and physicians from multiple disciplines (primary care, physiatry, emergency medicine) who provide individualized treatments tailored to specific patient needs.

Operatively, our orthopedic surgeons are recognized nationally and internationally for their technical excellence and ability to manage both routine and complex orthopedic conditions. Specialized orthopedic services provided include sports medicine, cartilage restoration, shoulder and elbow reconstruction, hand and wrist surgery, hip and knee preservation / reconstruction, foot and ankle surgery, orthopedic oncology, trauma, and spine.
